ACC scraps its flagship event in Chicago as Covid-19 fears spread faster than the virus
The American College of Cardiology has decided to cancel its huge annual flagship event, scheduled for Chicago in late March.
With coronavirus fears spreading faster than the virus, the Biogen outbreak after a meeting of only 175 people in late February has helped illustrate the potential dangers of even medium-sized events. This is the first time in 69 years that the event has been cancelled.
