ADF asks SCOTUS not to take up mifepristone case as Danco, DOJ say arguments don't hold up
The Alliance Defending Freedom, a conservative Christian advocacy group, on Thursday filed a brief asking the Supreme Court to deny Danco Laboratories’ and the Biden administration’s request to take up the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals’ decision to tighten restrictions on the use of the abortion pill mifepristone.
The 63-page brief comes after Danco Laboratories, which manufactures mifepristone under the brand name Mifeprex, and the Department of Justice filed briefs pushing back on the ADF’s cross-petition last month, which took issue with several aspects of the FDA’s regulation of mifepristone.
