After leaving Merck's C-suite, Mike Nally turns up at the helm of a Flagship machine learning company

It’s been two weeks on the dot since Mike Nally said he would leave the chief marketing post at Merck, where he was reportedly in the running to replace CEO Ken Frazier, for another leadership opportunity.

Now we know where he’s headed.

The Harvard Business School graduate is returning to Cambridge, MA, where he’ll become Flagship Pioneering’s latest CEO-partner and take the helm at Generate Biomedicines — a machine-learning focused upstart that emerged from a three-year stealth period in September.
