Al­ca­mi ap­points new CEO as for­mer chief Patrick Walsh an­nounces re­tire­ment

Al­ca­mi, a North Car­oli­na-based con­tract man­u­fac­tur­er, tapped a new CEO ear­li­er this week as for­mer chief Patrick Walsh an­nounced his re­tire­ment.

Bill Humphries took the helm on June 5, Al­ca­mi an­nounced on Mon­day. Walsh will re­main as chair­man of the board, and Humphries will al­so join the board of di­rec­tors.

“I am ex­cit­ed to join Al­ca­mi and work along­side a tremen­dous lead­er­ship team and ded­i­cat­ed em­ploy­ees that are well re­spect­ed in the life sci­ences in­dus­try,” Humphries said in a re­lease.
