Amgen CEO Bob Bradway takes home $20M+ pay package amid bang-up year for sales
Generic competition may have driven Amgen’s revenue down last year, but the company was able to bounce back. It reported a 9% increase in revenue in 2020, which paid off nicely for CEO Bob Bradway.
Bradway bagged a $20.1 million compensation package in 2020, a slight increase from his $19.6 million total the previous year. Overall, the company raked in $25.4 billion.
The CEO’s haul included a nearly $1.65 million base salary (a 2.5% raise from 2019), and another $14.4 million in stock and option awards. And the 58-year-old is due for another 2% bump in base pay in 2021, the compensation committee decided in March.
