Astellas annual cancer prize goes to mobile reporting app to bridge care gaps
Astellas Oncology has fielded hundreds of submissions from cancer patients, researchers, entrepreneurs and loved ones in its now seven-year-old annual C3 Prize to crowdsource oncology care solutions.
This year’s winner falls into the last category. Aimee DeGolyer’s father died in 2020 after a preventable adverse reaction during his cancer treatment, so she founded Reprosent and created a solution aimed at addressing symptom and information gaps between patients and clinical teams.
