Up­dat­ed: As­traZeneca wins last-minute in­junc­tion to tem­porar­i­ly stop for­mer ex­ec from start­ing GSK job

As­traZeneca has suc­cess­ful­ly sued to tem­porar­i­ly stop GSK from hir­ing one of its for­mer em­ploy­ees, the Fi­nan­cial Times was among those to re­port.

The big British-Swedish drug­mak­er was grant­ed an in­junc­tion from the UK’s High Court to stop its for­mer head of in­vestor re­la­tions, Chris Shel­don, from start­ing at GSK on Thurs­day. Shel­don had been hired to run GSK’s com­mer­cial port­fo­lio af­ter work­ing at As­traZeneca for near­ly 20 years.
