Eu­ro­pean au­thor­i­ties have or­dered 110,000 dos­es of Bavar­i­an Nordic’s small­pox/mon­key­pox vac­cine, push­ing the com­pa­ny to once again up its sales ex­pec­ta­tions — al­beit slight­ly.

As the on­go­ing mon­key­pox out­break put the Dan­ish biotech on the map, ne­go­ti­a­tions and po­ten­tial sup­ply deals have been close­ly tracked every step of the way, al­though for the most part the com­pa­ny has kept the specifics, in­clud­ing the names of coun­tries, con­fi­den­tial. So far, the US and Cana­da are the on­ly buy­ers to go pub­lic with their pur­chas­es.
