Bay­er opens cell, gene ther­a­py in­cu­ba­tor in Cam­bridge

Bay­er launched a new life sci­ences in­cu­ba­tor in Cam­bridge’s famed Kendall Square fo­cused on sup­port­ing cell and gene ther­a­py star­tups.

The in­cu­ba­tor, called Co.Lab Cam­bridge, has 26,000 square feet of of­fice and lab­o­ra­to­ry space in the same build­ing as the Bay­er Re­search and In­no­va­tion Cen­ter. It is the fourth Co.Lab in­cu­ba­tor; oth­ers are lo­cat­ed in Berlin, Kobe, Japan, and West Sacra­men­to, with “new de­vel­op­ments” planned for Chi­na.
