Bay­er’s for her: Press­ing a fe­male-first ini­tia­tive as it builds out from con­tra­cep­tive ad­vo­ca­cy in women’s health

Bay­er’s “We’re For Her” ini­tia­tive be­gan with ad­vo­ca­cy am­bi­tions, but is now go­ing broad­er as the phar­ma dou­bles down on its women’s health mis­sion.

Launched in 2020, “We’re For Her” be­gan as a pro­gram to ex­pand ac­cess to con­tra­cep­tion with Bay­er’s goal be­ing to reach 100 mil­lion women by 2030. It’s still aim­ing for that, but un­der that um­brel­la, it’s al­so ex­pand­ing ac­cess, ed­u­ca­tion and in­no­va­tion across a range of women’s health­care needs.
