A new $1B biotech man­u­fac­tur­ing hub is on its way to the red-hot NC life sci­ences clus­ter

Through­out the past two years, North Car­oli­na Gov. Roy Coop­er has been build­ing a biotech man­u­fac­tur­ing em­pire in his state, ex­pand­ing be­yond the Re­search Tri­an­gle and of­fer­ing tax breaks to in­ter­na­tion­al com­pa­nies. Now, a new project is in the works in the Tri­an­gle, and it comes with a $1 bil­lion price tag.

A fledg­ling biotech hub in Mor­risville will add an­oth­er 1.5 mil­lion square feet of space for biotechs to house lab space and man­u­fac­tur­ing.
