Biogen fires staffer who fled to China after she was infected in the biotech’s coronavirus outbreak
Jie Li has more to contend with than the prospect of a years-long prison sentence after the Biogen staffer hopped a flight to China with her family after getting infected with coronavirus spread at a company meeting in late February.
The woman, identified by the Boston Globe as a statistician for the company, has also lost her job.
