Biohaven recruits a Kardashian to help sell migraine drug; GSK licenses lentiviral tech to Orchard
→ Biohaven has enlisted the help of Khloé Kardashian to help promote their newly approved migraine drug Nurtec. She’ll be leading a virtual campaign to endorse the drug by empowering “people with migraine to share their stories in an online community.”
→ Gene therapy player Orchard Therapeutics has turned to GlaxoSmithKline to license their proprietary lentiviral stable cell line technology for Orchard’s investigational hematopoietic stem cell gene therapies for Wiskott Aldrich syndrome and transfusion-dependent beta thalassemia.
→ The FDA has provided Ascentage Pharma with an orphan drug designation for APG-2575, a Bcl-2 inhibitor being developed for the treatment of Waldenström macroglobulinemia.
