BioMarin makes $41M+ expansion to Irish facility
Rare disease pharma BioMarin plans to expand its manufacturing facility in Ireland.
The company, which is based in Novato, Calif., said it plans to invest €38 million ($41.9 million) over four years to expand its manufacturing plant in the village of Shanbally, located in County Cork. According to Ireland’s Industrial Development Agency, or IDA, the new expansion plans to produce, package and label BioMarin’s therapies for global distribution.
