Boehringer In­gel­heim broad­casts third pod­cast sea­son around rare lung con­di­tion

Boehringer In­gel­heim is back on the pod­cast au­dio waves with the next sea­son of its pul­monary fi­bro­sis se­ries.

In its third sea­son, Boehringer is part­ner­ing with pa­tients, care­givers and physi­cians to talk about day-to-day life with the con­di­tion, tack­ling top­ics such as men­tal health, di­et and nu­tri­tion, and re­la­tion­ships.

The first sea­son of the pod­cast, “Jour­neys Through Pul­monary Fi­bro­sis,” dealt with pa­tient ex­pe­ri­ences with a host, fol­lowed by a sec­ond sea­son talk­ing about the dis­ease signs and symp­toms. In the third sea­son, spe­cial­ists and pa­tients both talk about the chal­lenges. In the re­la­tion­ships episode, for in­stance, a cou­ple talks about the im­pact on their mar­riage and fam­i­ly mem­bers, while physi­cians weigh in on top­ics in­clud­ing in­ti­ma­cy, the im­por­tance of open com­mu­ni­ca­tion and sup­port­ive friend­ships.
