Cambrex secures acquisition in Ireland, increasing their European footprint
Ireland continues to be a hot spot for pharma manufacturers, with Merck KGaA announcing last week a $470 million-plus investment into expanding and building projects in the country. But another manufacturer is looking to get themselves in on the action on the Emerald Isle.
New Jersey-based CDMO Cambrex has acquired Q1 Scientific, a provider of environmentally-controlled cGMP stability storage services, located in city of Waterford, Ireland. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed to Endpoints News.
