Cam­brex se­cures ac­qui­si­tion in Ire­land, in­creas­ing their Eu­ro­pean foot­print

Ire­land con­tin­ues to be a hot spot for phar­ma man­u­fac­tur­ers, with Mer­ck KGaA an­nounc­ing last week a $470 mil­lion-plus in­vest­ment in­to ex­pand­ing and build­ing projects in the coun­try. But an­oth­er man­u­fac­tur­er is look­ing to get them­selves in on the ac­tion on the Emer­ald Isle.

New Jer­sey-based CD­MO Cam­brex has ac­quired Q1 Sci­en­tif­ic, a provider of en­vi­ron­men­tal­ly-con­trolled cGMP sta­bil­i­ty stor­age ser­vices, lo­cat­ed in city of Wa­ter­ford, Ire­land. The fi­nan­cial terms of the deal were not dis­closed to End­points News.
