Covid-19 roundup: Bio­gen con­fer­ence is tied to tens of thou­sands of Covid-19 cas­es; FDA chief Stephen Hahn walks back plas­ma com­ments

We knew back in March that Bio­gen’s in­ter­na­tion­al con­fer­ence sparked a su­per-spread­er event for Covid-19 that rat­tled the re­gion and helped spur a dev­as­tat­ing lock­down to help con­tain the virus. Now a group of ex­perts have iden­ti­fied a ge­net­ic fin­ger­print in the virus that burst out at their gath­er­ing in Boston, and they re­port­ed­ly be­lieve it could safe­ly be tied to tens of thou­sands of cas­es in the re­gion and around the world.
