
Covid-19 roundup: Warp Speed releases vaccine distribution plans, but leaves key questions unanswered
HHS released a much-anticipated plan Wednesday detailing how they would get the vaccines accelerated and purchased through Operation Warp Speed out to the general public, with the caveat that much still depended on which vaccines first prove effective, in what groups and when.
“We’re dealing in a world of great uncertainty — we don’t know the timing of when we’ll have a vaccine, we don’t know the quantities, we don’t know the efficacy,” HHS deputy chief of staff Paul Mango told reporters. “The message we’re trying to leave you with is we are prepared for all of those uncertainties.”
