Like the US and other countries, the UK has been scrambling to get in the front of the line for supplies of new Covid-19 vaccines barreling through the pipeline. No one wants to be waiting at the back when something comes along that can prospectively end the pandemic and stop the economic turmoil associated with the outbreak.
And now, the UK government is investing $125 million to make sure it’s ready for any future pandemics coming along.
