Another day, another batch of coronavirus news. Today: A $20 million Big Pharma pledge, new vaccine and drug hunts, and cancellations from ICER and the FDA.
→ Novartis has announced a $20 million Covid-19 Response Fund to support communities around the world impacted by the coronavirus. The Swiss giant said they would give grants of up to $1 million for three things: strengthening local or national healthcare infrastructure; establishing digital platforms for Covid-19 data collection, administering remote healthcare or disseminating public health information; and creating or enhancing health programs for pandemic response.
