No­var­tis has an­nounced a $20 mil­lion Covid-19 Re­sponse Fund to sup­port com­mu­ni­ties around the world im­pact­ed by the coro­n­avirus. The Swiss gi­ant said they would give grants of up to $1 mil­lion for three things: strength­en­ing lo­cal or na­tion­al health­care in­fra­struc­ture; es­tab­lish­ing dig­i­tal plat­forms for Covid-19 da­ta col­lec­tion, ad­min­is­ter­ing re­mote health­care or dis­sem­i­nat­ing pub­lic health in­for­ma­tion; and cre­at­ing or en­hanc­ing health pro­grams for pan­dem­ic re­sponse.
