→ CRISPR Ther­a­peu­tics $CR­SP is join­ing the rush to build out a new cell ther­a­py man­u­fac­tur­ing space. The biotech re­ports that it is build­ing a new fa­cil­i­ty for its R&D and com­mer­cial needs in Fram­ing­ham, MA, with plans to hire up to 100 work­ers to staff it. Not­ed CEO Samarth Kulka­rni: “We look for­ward to build­ing a state-of-the-art man­u­fac­tur­ing fa­cil­i­ty, which will ac­cel­er­ate our pro­grams and al­low us to scale for com­mer­cial sup­ply.”
