
Mirroring federal efforts, DeSantis signs new law on drug price transparency, PBM reforms
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Wednesday signed into law new PBM reforms that potentially will keep closer tabs on the pharma middlemen, while also requiring pharma companies to disclose any large price increases.
New increases of 15% or more of the wholesale acquisition cost of a drug costing $100 or more, during the preceding 12-month period, or any cumulative increase of 30% or more of the WAC during the preceding calendar year, will now have to be reported to the state.
