Digital med company Akili set to go public via Palihapitiya-backed SPAC — furthering commercial launch and pipeline expansion
PureTech sub Akili Interactive — a prescription digital health company and maker of the first prescription video game treatment — is now pivoting away from Series VC backing and diving into the public sphere. And SPAC king and tech billionaire Chamath Palihapitiya is involved.
The subsidiary announced this morning that it entered a merger agreement with Social Capital Suvretta Holdings Corp. I, or SCS, a partnership between Palihapitiya’s VC Social Capital and Kishen Mehta at Suvretta Capital Management.
