Ex-Mod­er­na CFO Lorence Kim joins a new class of ven­ture part­ners jump­ing on board Third Rock

We now know where Lorence Kim will play out the next chap­ter of his life sci­ences ca­reer.

Back in May, Mod­er­na — one of the top play­ers in the race to de­vel­op a Covid-19 vac­cine — an­nounced that their CFO was head­ed to the ex­it in Au­gust, set­ting up a switch in the ex­ec­u­tive suite. Tues­day morn­ing Third Rock an­nounced via Twit­ter that Kim is hop­ping on board the high-pro­file biotech VC as a new ven­ture part­ner.
