Janet Woodcock’s tenure as acting FDA commissioner may soon come to an end (pending Rob Califf’s confirmation), but that doesn’t mean she has to leave the FDA, and her imminent departure as commish hasn’t slowed her down from carrying on, with speeches to at least three different conferences so far this month, and testimony before a Senate health committee.
In that testimony, Woodcock’s comments sent reverberations across the US, bluntly telling the country, “Most people are going to get Covid.”
