Amazon lands FDA warning letter over distribution of seven unapproved eye drops
The FDA has warned Amazon about the distribution of seven different unapproved eye drops on its site and given the company 15 days to fix the violations.
The warning letter dated yesterday from the FDA comes less than a month after a report from the agency warned customers not to buy over two dozen over-the-counter eye drops following reports of contamination and new draft guidance for topical eye treatments.
