Fresh off a big pan­dem­ic year, Ther­mo Fish­er an­nounces more growth at its Mid­west hub

Three months re­moved from the com­ple­tion of its last ren­o­va­tion, a Ther­mo Fish­er lo­ca­tion is about to change again.

Ther­mo Fish­er will spend $82.5 mil­lion to ex­pand its St. Louis, MO op­er­a­tions and add an­oth­er 169 jobs to its drug sub­stance man­u­fac­tur­ing fa­cil­i­ty. The drug sub­stance will be used in treat­ments for can­cer, Covid-19 and oth­er life-threat­en­ing dis­eases, the com­pa­ny said in a press re­lease.
