Genentech reaches settlement with Taiwanese biotech accused of stealing trade secrets — but will keep suing ex-staffers
Less than a year after Genentech accused JHL Biotech of devising a scheme to steal trade secrets in a scathing, detailed lawsuit, it’s closing in on a settlement with the Taiwanese biosimilar maker.
Instead of waiting for an injunction, the big Roche subsidiary said they have reached a Memorandum of Understanding in which JHL agreed to shut down all work that allegedly benefited from stolen trade secrets.
