Georgia senator urges majority leader Chuck Schumer to follow through on insulin cap legislation
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said back in March that after the Senate recess for the Easter holiday, he would bring to vote a bill that would cap monthly insulin costs at $35 for those with insurance. That promise aligned with an earlier one from President Joe Biden, which he made at his first State of the Union address.
It’s now June, and so far, no dice. And Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) is not amused.
