GSK se­lects ‘thought­ful’ mul­ti­ple myelo­ma pro­gram for in­au­gur­al ‘Think Tank’ chal­lenge win

Jen­ny Ahlstrom is a mul­ti­ple myelo­ma pa­tient, founder of a non­prof­it group to help oth­er pa­tients and now a GSK in­no­va­tion chal­lenge win­ner.

Her or­ga­ni­za­tion, HealthTree Foun­da­tion, is the first win­ner of GSK’s friend­ly “Shark Tank”-like con­test to crowd­source so­lu­tions for mul­ti­ple myelo­ma pa­tients. The “Tar­get the Fu­ture Think Tank Chal­lenge” gath­ered sub­mis­sions from around the world, nar­row­ing it down to 20 of the best en­tries and then fur­ther down to three fi­nal­ists.
