In the latest chapter of Emergent saga, CEO Bob Kramer will address US House subcommittee on plant woes
Emergent CEO Bob Kramer has had to explain to investors, the media and the American public just what went wrong at his company’s Baltimore plant that led to the mixup of millions of vaccine doses in March. Next up is the US House of Representatives’ coronavirus subcommittee.
Kramer will meet with the subcommittee May 19 to explain how Emergent’s failure to maintain its manufacturing facilities, train its staff and comply with FDA standards led to the destruction of 15 million doses of the J&J vaccine, as well as doses of AstraZeneca’s vaccine.
