J&J’s Janssen lays off em­ploy­ees at Penn­syl­va­nia, New Jer­sey sites

John­son & John­son’s ther­a­peu­tics unit Janssen has laid off em­ploy­ees at mul­ti­ple sites in New Jer­sey and Penn­syl­va­nia, ac­cord­ing to posts on LinkedIn.

“We are con­stant­ly as­sess­ing ways to be more in­no­v­a­tive and com­pet­i­tive,” the Big Phar­ma said in an emailed state­ment to End­points News Thurs­day morn­ing. “We are evolv­ing amidst a rapid­ly chang­ing en­vi­ron­ment to bet­ter meet the needs of the pa­tients we serve around the world.”
