Looking for a quick diagnosis of your symptoms? This biotech is building an app for that

A digital health startup is adding to its cash cache as they hunt a more perfect app aimed at helping people quickly diagnose whatever ails them.

Nine months after digital health company Ada Health raised an initial $90 million in a Series B round, the German company decided to go for an extension — and got $30 million out of it.

The Berlin-based startup, founded in 2011 and armed with its singular product — a mobile health app aptly named Ada — closed its Series B round at a cool $120 million. While Ada Health declined to specify how long the round would last the company, the startup said in a statement that the funds will allow Ada to accelerate growth and expand in the US.
