Lu­l­ule­mon founder com­mits $100M to cure his rare dis­ease

Chip Wil­son may be best known as the founder of ath­leisure brand Lu­l­ule­mon. But he’s now com­ing with an­oth­er hid­den iden­ti­ty: some­one di­ag­nosed with a rare dis­ease known as fa­cioscapu­lo­humer­al mus­cu­lar dy­s­tro­phy type 2.

The en­tre­pre­neur is go­ing pub­lic with his own sto­ry as he un­veils a $100 mil­lion com­mit­ment in­to a new ven­ture called Solve FSHD, whose stat­ed goal is to find a cure for the ail­ment by 2027.
