Can­cer, specif­i­cal­ly breast can­cer, is the top­ic for Pfiz­er’s sec­ond sea­son of its “Sci­ence Will Win” pod­cast de­but­ing this week. Re­searchers, doc­tors and pa­tients them­selves will talk about the sci­ence, new in­no­va­tions in tar­get­ed im­munother­a­pies, clin­i­cal tri­als and the phys­i­o­log­i­cal and per­son­al chal­lenges of the dis­ease.

The two-episode sea­son be­gins on Thurs­day host­ed by ge­neti­cist and Uni­ver­si­ty Col­lege Lon­don lec­tur­er Adam Ruther­ford, who al­so host­ed the first sea­son of “Sci­ence Will Win” about gene ther­a­py and the next gen­er­a­tion of med­i­cines.
