Mon­tre­al will be Mod­er­na's next man­u­fac­tur­ing ven­ture — re­port

Cana­di­an Prime Min­is­ter Justin Trudeau has made it clear that his ad­min­is­tra­tion wants to in­vest in drug man­u­fac­tur­ing, and the team showed just how com­mit­ted it was to Mod­er­na when it an­nounced that it would col­lab­o­rate to build the biotech’s first man­u­fac­tur­ing site out­side of the US. Fri­day, he’s ex­pect­ed to an­nounce that the site will be in the Mon­tre­al area.

Ra­dio-Cana­da has re­port­ed that Trudeau and Que­bec Pre­mier François Legault are ex­pect­ed to make the an­nounce­ment that the site set to em­ploy be­tween 200 and 300 peo­ple will be built in La Metro­pole.
