
On a hiring spree, Moderna recruits another Amgen vet for the executive committee; Repare, Forma set terms for IPO
→ Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel didn’t just get its new CFO from Amgen. The biotech — looking to revolutionize vaccine development and beat Covid-19 in lightning-fast time — also just hired a new chief corporate affairs officer who completed a lengthy stint at the pharma giant. Ray Jordan, the former SVP of corporate affairs at Amgen, who worked at the company for 7 years, before leaving in 2019, is joining the executive committee at Moderna in this new chapter of his career. Bancel’s taken a few months to get to know Jordan, who also had worked at J&J and Pfizer earlier in his career. “It has been a pleasure working with Ray on a consulting basis over the last four months and I am thrilled to welcome him as our Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and to the Executive Committee,” said Bancel in a statement.
