On again, ex-Google su­per­star Bill Maris is said to bankroll a $100M biotech fund

It’s on again. Or so re­ports Bloomberg.

Bill Maris, who achieved rock star sta­tus in the ven­ture world as the founder of Google Ven­tures, is once again just a step away from un­veil­ing a new fund. But in­stead of the $230 mil­lion op­er­a­tion he had ini­tial­ly en­vi­sioned, Bloomberg quotes sources in the know say­ing that Maris is go­ing to bankroll a $100 mil­lion fund, tak­ing the lead role as sole in­vestor.
