On­copep­tides ex­ec is ar­rest­ed in Swe­den for al­leged­ly pass­ing in­sid­er in­for­ma­tion

On­copep­tides chief sci­en­tif­ic of­fi­cer Jakob Lind­berg was ar­rest­ed in Swe­den on Wednes­day morn­ing on al­le­ga­tions he passed in­sid­er in­for­ma­tion to an in­di­vid­ual out­side the com­pa­ny.

The al­leged shar­ing of in­side in­for­ma­tion oc­curred in Oc­to­ber 2021, but Lind­berg did not make any il­lic­it trades him­self, Swedish Eco­nom­ic Crime Au­thor­i­ty pros­e­cu­tor Pon­tus Hamil­ton tells End­points News. An­oth­er in­di­vid­ual, whose name is not pub­lic, has al­so been ar­rest­ed, Hamil­ton said.
