PBM association launches ad campaign pushing back on drugmakers' lobbying ‘power’ amid congressional pressure
As both the Senate and House advance bills around drug pricing and the pharmacy benefit management industry, the leading PBM trade association is rolling out an ad campaign calling out pharma and trying to stop the proposals.
The seven-figure TV and digital campaign by the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association will run in Washington, DC, and some target states. Announcing the campaign, the PCMA accused pharma companies of spending “tens of millions of dollars” on paid advertising to influence lawmakers and encourage them to target and blame PBMs.
