Pfiz­er to make an al­most $1B in­vest­ment in its Dublin man­u­fac­tur­ing fa­cil­i­ty — re­port

Ire­land has be­come a hot spot for ma­jor phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal man­u­fac­tur­ing de­vel­op­ments this year, with Pfiz­er as the lat­est to get in on the ac­tion.

Ac­cord­ing to a re­port from the Irish fi­nan­cial news site the Busi­ness Post, sources claim that the phar­ma is plan­ning to in­vest north of €1 bil­lion ($987 mil­lion) for a new man­u­fac­tur­ing fa­cil­i­ty at its Grange Cas­tle site in the Irish cap­i­tal of Dublin.

Sources told the Busi­ness Post that con­struc­tion on the site will be­gin some­time in Q2 of next year, with the project ex­pect­ed to be com­plet­ed by 2026. How­ev­er, no oth­er de­tails were avail­able from the Post, and Pfiz­er did not pro­vide any specifics on the project.
