Pfizer to make an almost $1B investment in its Dublin manufacturing facility — report
Ireland has become a hot spot for major pharmaceutical manufacturing developments this year, with Pfizer as the latest to get in on the action.
According to a report from the Irish financial news site the Business Post, sources claim that the pharma is planning to invest north of €1 billion ($987 million) for a new manufacturing facility at its Grange Castle site in the Irish capital of Dublin.
Sources told the Business Post that construction on the site will begin sometime in Q2 of next year, with the project expected to be completed by 2026. However, no other details were available from the Post, and Pfizer did not provide any specifics on the project.
