Phar­ma mar­keters stand 'loud­ly and proud­ly' with LGBTQ+ com­mu­ni­ty dur­ing Pride Month, de­spite boy­cotts in oth­er in­dus­tries

While some con­sumer com­pa­nies are curb­ing LGBTQ+ pride mar­ket­ing af­ter a rash of ex­trem­ist tar­get­ing, phar­ma com­pa­nies are stand­ing firm with tra­di­tion­al ap­proach­es to Pride Month in June.

Many com­pa­nies changed their lo­gos on so­cial me­dia to rain­bow col­ors on the first day of the month as they typ­i­cal­ly do, and they’re con­tin­u­ing an­nu­al tra­di­tions of so­cial mar­ket­ing and me­dia posts, along with planned pro­grams and events for the month, in sup­port of the LGBTQ+ com­mu­ni­ty.
