Prominent MIT scientist, biotech founder David Sabatini is thrown out of the Whitehead and HHMI following sexual harassment probe
David Sabatini, who played a key role in the launch of several biotechs in the Boston/Cambridge hub, has been sacked by the Whitehead Institute and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute following an independent probe that determined he had violated the Whitehead’s sexual harassment policies. And according to reports he’s been placed on leave from MIT while officials consider revoking his tenure.
