Seagen to build manufacturing site from ground up near Washington home

As Seagen comes off a huge win in court that landed it nearly $42 million in payments for patent infringement, it’s making plans to build a massive manufacturing site north of its headquarters to boost capacity.

The new 270,000-square-foot site will be built in Everett, WA, and is expected to be fully operational, with up to 200 high-skilled workers, by 2024. Biologics will be the focus of production when it opens, and the site will be fully integrated for both clinical and commercial use.
