Pfiz­er to shut­ter re­search op­er­a­tions at Col­orado site ac­quired in Ar­ray deal

Pfiz­er is let­ting go an undis­closed num­ber of em­ploy­ees and end­ing re­search op­er­a­tions at its site in Boul­der, CO, the com­pa­ny con­firmed to End­points News.

The site came to Pfiz­er through its $11.4 bil­lion ac­qui­si­tion of Ar­ray Bio­Phar­ma in 2019. At one point, it em­ployed al­most 300 peo­ple, ac­cord­ing to Pfiz­er’s web­site. The move comes a year af­ter Pfiz­er said it would look to “ex­ter­nal­ize” re­search at the lo­ca­tion.
