With the news out Monday that Pfizer and BioNTech’s Covid-19 vaccine has proven more than 90% effective in the first interim analysis, President Trump lashed out at HHS Secretary Alex Azar and FDA chief Stephen Hahn over the results coming six days after Election Day, per the Washington Post. Trump told Azar to “get to the bottom” of what happened, reportedly claiming without evidence Pfizer deliberately withheld the analysis to sabotage his re-election chances.
