Vac­cine czar Slaoui ex­pects Mod­er­na's first Covid-19 da­ta to come 'prob­a­bly next week,' plans for 20M im­mu­niza­tions in De­cem­ber

In one of his first pub­lic ap­pear­ances since los­ing the elec­tion, Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump held a rough­ly half-hour press con­fer­ence at the White House on Fri­day af­ter­noon to claim vic­to­ry for Op­er­a­tion Warp Speed — ahead of any ac­tu­al vac­cine ap­provals. And dur­ing Mon­cef Slaoui’s re­marks, the OWS chief said that he ex­pects Mod­er­na’s first in­ter­im analy­sis of their close­ly-watched vac­cine to come “short­ly, prob­a­bly next week.”
