Less than a year after leaving Allergan, Brent Saunders has a $1.1B deal to take his SPAC public
Brent Saunders has found a buyer for his SPAC — and the end result is a deal worth over a billion dollars. Saunders’ Vesper Health Acquisition Corp. is reverse-merging with HydraFacial Co., a company that makes skincare products sold by retailers, in a move valued at $1.1 billion.
Though the news concludes the roughly three-month search for a partner after Saunders announced the launch of the SPAC in September, that likely means Saunders isn’t finished wheeling and dealing. He’s moving in as executive chairman and bringing in his close associate, Manisha Narasimhan, as chief strategy officer.
