J&J talc plaintiffs petition federal court to block the pharma's 'Texas two-step' maneuver
After J&J secured a massive win in bankruptcy court earlier this year, a federal court has agreed to review the decision.
Plaintiffs in a class action lawsuit sued Johnson & Johnson over the company’s talc products causing cancer — and some of those plaintiffs pleaded to an appellate court on Monday to revive their claims. A panel of the 3rd US Circuit Court of Appeals out of Philadelphia heard attorneys’ arguments that J&J subsidiary LTL Management was “concocted” solely for bankruptcy.
