GSK sells partial stake of consumer health spinoff Haleon for $1.2B
GSK is selling off more of its stake in consumer health spinoff Haleon for about $1.2 billion, according to a securities filing.
The pharma giant said Thursday in a statement to Endpoints News that the sale — its third — is part of a “disciplined and pragmatic approach” to divesting its stake, and further divestiture is “dependent on market conditions.”
The company announced Wednesday that it’s selling 300 million shares in Haleon, raising about £978 million. That leaves GSK with a 4.2% stake, down from about 13% in 2022, when Haleon was spun out.
